About the Role
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will take pride in providing a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and tidy environment for either private households or commercial establishments.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.
Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances.
Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper.
Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
Customer-oriented and friendly.
Prioritization and time management skills.
Working quickly without compromising quality.
Knowledge of English language.
High school degree.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery.
Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours.
Requirements
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred. New entrants with a strong willingness to learn and adapt are also welcome to apply.
Skills:
Excellent knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, including appropriate usage and safety precautions.
Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and meticulous use of proper safety procedures.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Physical Stamina: This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Ability to perform repetitive tasks with dexterity and to lift up to 30 pounds.
Availability: Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings, as required by the job schedule.
Communication: Good communication skills, with proficiency in English. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from various job sites within Palm Beach County.
Background Check: Must be able to pass a background check. A clean record is essential for consideration for the role.
Professionalism: Exhibits a professional demeanor and appearance at all times. Adheres to the company's uniform policy and grooming standards.
